KID'S CAMP

Pottery-on-Hudson has a summer arts program that brings out the creativity in children. Parents can pick up their children’s creations a couple of weeks after completing the camp.

Mornings 9 am - 12 pm, children 6 - 9 years old. Each morning the instructor will demonstrate a skill/project that the children can apply to that day’s creation. Students are encouraged to bring their individual creativity to each piece. Those children who have previous clay experience will be encouraged to plan and construct original creations. Both handbuilding and wheelthrowing will be covered over the course of the week.

Afternoons 1 - 4 pm, children 10 +. Hand-building techniques will be taught and applied to various projects. Children are encouraged to imagine, plan and construct original clay art.
