Children's Weekly Summer Camp

Philosophy and Details

To balance teaching children the various techniques of working with clay, and encouraging and supporting each child to find their individual creative voice.

We do both hand-building (slab-rolling, coiling, pinching etc) and wheel throwing.

The instructor will demonstrate various handbuilding and wheelthrowing techniques and projects over the course of the week. As children gain experience they are encouraged to create and execute individual projects with the instructor's guidance.

All experience levels welcome.

A drink and snack is provided.

Parents will be connected about 2-3 weeks after the camp is completed to come by the studio to pick up their child’s pottery.
