Hand-building and Wheelthrowing

The instructor will demonstrate various hand-building and wheelthrowing techniques over the course of the session. Students will learn how to the use the studio equipment. Students are encouraged to create and execute individual projects using the techniques taught with the assistance from the instructor.

Hand-building and Wheelthrowing

The instructor will demonstrate various handbuilding and wheelthrowing techniques and projects over the course of the session. As children gain experience they are encouraged to create and execute individual projects with the instructor's guidance. All experience levels welcome.  

PHILOSOPHY


​To balance teaching children the various techniques of working with clay, with the support and guidance of finding each child’s creative voice. All experience levels are welcome. 

Linda MacKenzie is an experienced potter who has been teaching all ages and levels of students for about 15 years.  ​​

Childrens'/Teens Pottery Details

$300./session tuition includes clay and firing.

$100. deposit holds your place in the class, balance is due on the first day of class.

Children can make-up a maximum of 1 class per session, not transferrable to another session.
