6 CLASSES - COST $270 + CLAY AND FIRING

FALL SESSION II MORNING CLASSES:

 

6 CLASSES - COST $270 + CLAY AND FIRING

THERE ARE 4 WHEELS AVAILABLE. THERE WILL BE A MAXIMUM OF 8 STUDENTS/CLASS.

STUDENTS WILL TAKE TURNS ON THE WHEEL

 

 CLAY AND FIRING:
 Clay is available for purchase for $20 per 25 pound bag: you can choose from either white or manganese speckled clay. Both fire to cone 6 stoneware temperatures.

Firing is 5 cents/cubic inch (pieces are measured at the bisque stage)

 

*Glazing:

GLAZING WILL TAKE PLACE AT MY HOME STUDIO AT AN AGREED UPON TIME. IF STUDENTS PREFER, THEY CAN GLAZE PIECES AT THEIR HOMES AND RETURN THE PIECES TO ME FOR FIRING.

 

LOCATION:
2 REVOLUTIONARY ROAD, ARDSLEY, NY (LOWER LEVEL OF ST. BARNABAS CHURCH). THIS IS A WELL-LIT SPACE (LOTS OF WINDOWS), AND LOTS OF ROOM TO WORK IN. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

GUIDELINES:
ALL PEOPLE ENTERING THE STUDIO WILL HAVE THEIR TEMPERATURE CHECKED. ANYONE WITH A TEMPERATURE OVER 100 DEGREES F WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER. 

IF YOU ARE NOT VACCINATED, MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING (6 FEET APART) are REQUIRED!

STUDENTS MUST THOROUGHLY CLEAN THEIR WORK AREA, THIS INCLUDES YOUR TABLE, CHAIR, 
FLOOR AREA, AND WHEEL, AS WELL AS ANY EQUIPMENT (IE SLAB ROLLER) and tools YOU USE.
